1.Sit in a
comfortable position and close your eyes.
2.Open your mouth
and bring out the tongue and roll it into a tube shape. If you find it
difficult, just make the English word "O" with your tongue.
3.Take a long
breath in through the tongue and fill your lungs with air.
4.At the end of the
inhalation, pull the tongue in, close the mouth and exhale slowly through the
nose.
5.While inhaling, a
sucking sound should be produced, which will result in a cold feeling on the
tongue, mouth and throat.
6.This will be one
round of Sheetali Pranayama, repeat this process at least 5 times every day for
best results.
