The name of this asana is Bhramari Pranayama.

Bhramari Pranayama is also known as Humming Bee Breathing Technique. Practicing this pranayama also provides relief in anger, stress, restlessness, depressed mood, depression, BP, etc. If you are not able to concentrate in any work then this pranayama increases your concentration. While doing this pranayama, you will feel many positive vibrations in the body.



Method of doing Bhramari Pranayama

Step 1- First of all, you sit in any meditation posture such as Padmasana, Vajrasana, Siddhasana or Sukhasana, in this position your breathing will be normal.

Step 2- With the eyes closed, now close both your ears with the index finger, you can take help from the picture given above.

Step 3- Take a deep breath in through the nose and apply your tongue to the upper palate, paying attention that the mouth is closed and there is a little gap between the teeth.

Step 4- Now while exhaling out through your nose, make a sound like the humming of a bee.

Similarly repeat this process 5 to 7 times or as per capacity.

Meditation while doing Bhramari Pranayama

1.In the beginning you may feel the sound or tremor only in the throat, gradually after continuous practice you will feel its resonance in the head region as well as the whole body.

2.During the practice of Bhramari Pranayama, pay attention to the use of the "na" sound and not the "m" sound.

3.While doing Bhramari Pranayama, pay attention not to press your ear hard.

4.Note that while doing pranayama, breathe through the nose and not through the mouth.
